My pride, anger, rage. Without permission, provocation, announcement. I find a vast emptiness.
Steal from me My confusion, fear, ambivalence. I find myself focused,
Yet distraught at the sudden loss of my oldest friend.
Rob from me My weariness, fatigue, melancholy, despair. Straighten my back with hitherto unknown resilience. I feel unbalanced, naked from the lifted weight.
